ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
“We are aware of how fortunate we are to have been born here, in Ondres, in the South of the Landes, at the gateway to the Basque Country:
• In a land where you can enjoy the vastness of the Landes forest, hundreds of kilometres of cycle paths, and a natural beach stretching for miles;
• In a land that knows no pollution, no traffic congestion, no mass urbanisation, no illegal dumping into the environment… at least for now,
• In a land where you can hear the birds and cicadas sing without background noise, and where, looking up, the stars appear free of light pollution,
• In a land that has a life, a soul, a history, a gastronomy, an authenticity, a local culture, a terroir…
We are keen to share with you this land that saw us grow up, that saw our ancestors and our children grow up at GREEN RESORT.
We manage this site in a world where Sustainable Development is often mere wishful thinking, but very modestly and at our own level, we are committed, in compliance with legal requirements and guided by the provisions of the European Ecolabel, to:
• Prevent pollution risks,
• Optimise the management of natural resources while reducing waste production,
• Maintain and improve the quality of local flora and fauna,
• Direct our purchasing towards products offering environmental guarantees,
• Communicate about our environmental practices and results,
• Enable each of our employees to thrive in their work,
• Place the satisfaction of our guests — you — at the heart of all our decisions!
Keeping these commitments will only be possible with everyone’s involvement: ours, of course, but without you, dear holidaymakers, we can do nothing.
We are counting on you to champion our values during your stay… in this beautiful land.
